Revolution Tour comes to Whanganui Intermediate School
On Thursday 1st June the whole school was treated to a visit by the Revolution Tour. Inspirational youth speaker Reggie Dabbs talked to us about loving ourselves and supporting each other. He said that it's easy to laugh when someone falls over but it takes someone special to get down on the floor and ask them if they are okay. His anti-bullying message was really powerful and supported what we have been discussing during the lead up to Pink Shirt Day.
Reggie also played the saxophone for us and was accompanied by the Revolution singers and dancers. Everyone enjoyed singing along and dancing - Matai cluster teachers were also spotted busting their best moves at the back of the hall! We were all so captivated that we were still in the hall after the bell had gone for the end of the day!
